About

Springfield Skatepark

The Springfield Skatepark Association is 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. The skatepark features ramps built by Tim Payne and his professional crew who build the ramps seen on ESPN during the now popular X Games. The ramp surfaces are made of Finland birch, a super-hard wood that is favored by professionals. The indoor park has 17,500 sq. ft. total with 13,500 sq. ft. of skating area. There is a 2,500 sq. ft. second level for spectators that will also contain a stage for future band performances. A big street course, mini ramp, and beginner’s area, along with a Pro Shop and Concession area are also prominent park features. Other perks include low daily fees with frequent rider discounts along with special sessions for beginners and extreme bikers. Helmet and safety pads are available for rent and are required. The park is supervised at all times.

Donors

Springfield Skatepark is very thankful to all the individuals and companies who donated time, money, and labor to make the skatepark a reality. Without all of the support and kindness of the area community and the city of Springfield, this project could not have been completed. Again, thank you to all who helped make Springfield Skatepark happen.
